Summer In Ahwatukee AZ

Ahwatukee AZ summer weather can be summed up in one word…hot! As I write this in the middle of May, the temps have been over 100 degrees already. It’s when the airflow, which is usually from west to east begins rise and circle changing the airflow to east to west. This pulls in moisture and the humidity levels get much higher, usually in the 40-50% range. Couple that with a temperature of 105 and you’ll be wanting to stay inside a lot. Monsoon officially starts at the end of July and runs through the beginning of September. Things then return to normal humidity levels usually under 15%. By this time you’re pretty sick of the 4+ months of hot weather and looking forward to it cooling down soon.
